A New Counterpart to Our Annual Conference
For years, the NSELA Annual Conference (held each Spring) has been the premier destination for exploring the critical topics and trends shaping science education.
The Leadership Development Academy is designed to complete that picture.
Launching in the Fall of 2026 alongside the NSTA Fall Conference, the Academy is content-agnostic. While the Annual Conference focuses on what is happening in science education, the Academy focuses on the how of leadership.
This intensive program is dedicated exclusively to developing core leadership skills—from navigating district politics and budgeting to strategic advocacy and team management—giving new leaders the operational toolkit they need to thrive.
Geography Shouldn't Limit Leadership.Great science education starts with great leadership. But too often, supervisors and coordinators are held back from professional development simply because their districts lack the budget for travel. Your donation helps to change that. 100% of donations from this giving campaign will be used to remove the financial burden, ensuring that our new Leadership Development Academy is accessible to all leaders. |
