Other Awards

The Lawrence Scadden Teacher of the Year Award in Science Education for Students with Disabilities
Open to all current K-12 teachers (general education, special education, or science teachers, public or private) who have taught at least 5 years and have made an outstanding contribution to science students with disabilities. The recipient will be recognized at the annual National Science Teachers Association Convention in 2007 (St. Louis, MO) and will receive a $1,000 award to be applied to travel expenses for the conference.
