Eric R. Banilower is a Vice President at Horizon Research, Inc. (HRI) in Chapel Hill, NC, and has worked in education for over 25 years. His career started as a high school physics and physical science teacher. During that time he participated in the California Scope, Sequence, and Coordination project developing curriculum and assessment materials for the California science reform project. Mr. Banilower joined HRI in 1997 and has worked on a number of research and evaluation projects, including the evaluation of the National Science Foundation’s Local Systemic Change through Teacher Enhancement program.
