You’ve Got One Hour to Prepare a Lesson

Free web-based teachers resources are at your fingertips. Check out BioEdOnline.org, a dynamic, award-winning online resource for science educators that is currently accessed by more than 5000 users daily. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, it provides instant access to current, peer-reviewed content that builds upon and enhances the skills and knowledge of science teachers everywhere. BioEdOnline offers the following resources.
  • Streaming Video Presentations – View timely presentations given by scientists and science educators on science content, teaching strategies, lab techniques, science standards and other topics.
  • Slide Sets – Choose from hundreds of searchable slides, each complete with speaker’s notes and references. Slides can be selected and downloaded into a PowerPoint presentation on any computer.
  • Online Professional Development – Participate in free, online workshops and short courses, and obtain certificate of completion.
  • K-5 – Access presentations and lessons activities designed specifically for elementary teachers of science.
  • Hot Topics – Access current science news with suggestions and questions for immediate use in the classroom.
