The NSELA board has redistributed states to equalize the number of states in each region and served by each Regional Director.  The new regions become effective at the membership meeting during the NSTA national conference in Philadelphia.

In the new configuration, two regional directors’ home state has been moved to a different region. For the remainder of their current term, they will represent the states in the new region and their home state. The regional directors impacted by this arrangement are as follows:

Eric Walters, Region B Director, will represent the new region B and New York.

Xan Simonson, Region F Director, will represent the new region F and Arizona.

Effective date: March 18, 2010

Region A: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NJ, NY

Region B: DE, MD, DC, MI, OH, IN, KY, WV, VA

Region C: TN, NC, SC, AL, GA, FL, AR, MS, LA , Bermuda and Caribbean Islands

Region D: TX, OK, NM, AZ, UT, CO, Canada, Central and South America

Region E: NE, KS, MO, ND, SD, MN, IA, WI, IL

Region F: CA, NV, HI, OR, WA, AK, ID, MT, WY, the Territory of Guam and other international members
